Q. What is a single property website?
A. A website that is completely dedicated to one property with it's own address specific domain.
Example: www.123AnyStreet.com
Q. How can a single property site help me?
A. Simple. They impress buyers and sellers, win listings, promote you online, produce more qualified buyer leads, save time, save advertising dollars, and distribute listing information across the Internet (craigslist, kijiji).
Q. How will buyers find my single property websites?
A. Place your property-specific domain (123AnyStreet.com) everywhere you would normally advertise: your personal website, MLS, flyers, postcards, sign riders, newspaper ads, email, and craigslist.
Q. I already have a website. How is a single property site different?
A. It's different because it's completely dedicated to a single property – the home becomes the focus and does not get lost amongst the thousands of other homes on MLS, etc. The street address URL is so easy for buyers to remember.
Q. Are there any monthly recurring charges?
A. No! We charge a flat rate per website that includes everything you need (hosting, domain registration, and site design). You can also purchase a 5 -pack or 10-pack of sites for additional savings.
Q. What kind of information can I include on the site?
A. You can add a detailed property description, list the stand-out features, include an unlimited number of photos, links to videos, virtual tours, and other external links.
Q. How long does it take to create a single property website?
A. If you already have your photos and descriptions ready, we can build and publish a clean, elegant website in just 24 hours. Currently in development, our user-controlled edit tool will enable you to create and publish a website on your own. Once this tool is in place, you'll be able to post a site live in under an hour!
Q. How often can I change my property-specific websites?
A. We provide two minor edits (price drop, text changes) for free. We offer same day turnaround for site changes/updates too. When your site converts to a Sold property, we make that change for free too! Currently in development, our user-controlled edit tool will enable you to change the site as often as you want, whenever you want.
Q. How long will it be before my website is live?
A. As long as we have all the information you require for the site, it only takes us 24 hours from start to finish to create and upload the site. Currently in development, our user-controlled edit tool will enable you to create and publish a website on your own. Once this tool is in place, you'll be able to post a site live in under an hour!
Q. Can I add a video or 360 degree tour to my websites?
A. Yes. If you have multi media that you want to use to enhance your site, simply add the links to point to your additional resources.
Q. What can I do with the site after my property has sold?
A. Turn it into a lead generator! Update the listing with a Sold banner and change the meta-tags and keywords to reflect the new status.
Q. Can I re-use my website for another property?
A. No. A website can only be used for one property and is not transferable.
Q. Who owns the listing website domain name?
A. You pay for the site, so you own the domain name. At any time during the 1 year domain registration period you can transfer the domain away to a new registrar.
Q. Do you offer sign riders?
A. Yes. You can purchase a sign rider for $10.00.
Q. How do I show a client the site before it's been published?
A. Each site is located in a staging area until it is finalized and approved. This enables you to create a site for potential sellers to show them a website for their property in your Listing Presentation. You'll discover that the single property website is a great tool for winning listings.
Q. Is there a limit to how many photos can I have on the site?
A. No, but to optimize the imager viewer, upload 800x600 or better images to your site.
Q. How large will the photos display in the property website?
A. The photo gallery is designed to display images in 800X600 resolution. Bear in mind, if you use smaller images, the gallery will be resized to display at the resolution you send. To maximize the impact of your photos, try to take them in 800X600 resolution or higher.
